Ravata Awarded Sacramento Innovation Award - Medtech!
The Sacramento Innovation Awards are an annual awards ceremony held by the Sacramento Business Journal recognizing innovations created, deployed, or headquartered in the Sacramento area. This area comprises over 3M people and numerous innovations. To be considered for the award your innovation needs to be nominated by someone not affiliated with the company.
In our category, Ravata competed against over a dozen innovations in MedTech and was selected by a panel of judges based on the problem being solved, the solution, the traction of the company, and the impact on the Sacramento Region. Being a Finalist and ultimate winner of the award demonstrates the growth Ravata has made in recent years toward commercializing the Cell Sensing Platform
Scaling Production for Commercialization
After numerous customer calls and engagement with embryologists, we have defined the product market fit that resonated with the pre-human industries. Ravata then moved forward in defining, engaging, and closing pilots with customers in the field of assisted reproduction. These pilots are meant to demonstrate product readiness, identify challenges in use, and collect the relevant data to enable automated sorting for our customers.
As we scale up we are producing several electronic modules, pneumatic modules, and rigorously testing to enable continued reliability as the devices are deployed across North America. Testing includes ensuring conformity of sensing signals and all devices, ensuring the pneumatic seals on the device and chips, and finally ensuring all software catches system errors and relays them back to the central servers.
Interested in a Pilot?
Ravata Solutions has overcome a range of productization challenges to scale its deployment of devices to customers and academic partners. We are now ready to begin assessing embryo quality on-site across the country! Contact us here to receive more information on the Pilot and check out our website for more information.
Embryologist Input Wanted!
We are surveying the assisted reproduction landscape to identify the needs of embryologists, lab techs, and directors nationwide regardless of the mammalian species they work with. Please help us gain traction in this endeavor by forwarding our survey to anyone you believe fits the demographic. Survey results will be shared with respondents and via newsletter!

Ravata Team
