What’s Ravata Solution’s mission?
Ravata increases customer access to, and the reliability of, in vitro fertilization (IVF). Our technologies enable rapidly scalable pre-clinical model production, protein producing herd genetics management, and an affordable sub $10k human IVF protocol. Our vision is to have a device in every embryologist's lab nationwide providing decision making support.
What’s the technological capability?
Ravata consumables collect rich datasets of electrical, mechanical, and morphological embryo measurements. Via our system we have collected mechanical data with 92% precision in the identification of viable zygotes, measured embryo volume, and can differentiate cell types based on cell composition. Using a statistical pattern recognition strategy, we will identify the parameters of viable embryos first in rodents, then livestock, and finally humans.
How will Ravata grow?
Ravata will provide enterprise licenses to our hardware and data to assist in the embryo selection challenges facing large scale embryo production. Academics will also receive a licensable version of the product to study new frontiers in developmental biology. Industry and academic partners combined will amount to 10’s of millions of mammalian embryos annually to de-risk the technology for human use.
We Need help!
We are surveying the assisted reproduction landscape to identify the needs of embryologists, lab techs, and directors nationwide regardless of the mammalian species they work with.
Please help us gain traction in this endeavor by forwarding our survey to anyone you believe fits the demographic. Survey results will be shared with respondents and via newsletter!
